BEYOND THE WARM-UP · A CASAGRANDE COACHING COURSE
It's Never Just the Warm-Up
Stop being the coach who preps players and become the coach staff plans with – starting with your next session, using the same fifteen minutes you already have.
hundreds
of warm-ups
You’ll run hundreds of warm-ups this year. Maybe you already put real thought into them and you’re not the coach going through the motions.
But even coaches doing this well often hit the same ceiling: a good warm-up, and a good warm-up that’s actually developing you as a coach, are two different things. This course is about the second one.
Most
People Believe
That the warm-up is the low-value part of the session – something to get through before the “real” coaching starts. The coach who runs it is doing a support job, not a strategic one.
Most performance coaches are quietly trying to escape being called “the warm-up coach” – as if the label itself is the problem. I think it’s the opposite: the warm-up isn’t something to escape. It’s the fastest way to stop being replaceable.
I Believe
Something Different
The warm-up is the highest-leverage fifteen minutes a performance coach has. It’s where standards get set, where the game model gets layered in, and because it repeats every single day of a season – it’s the fastest professional-development loop available to a coach who actually treats it like one.

Picture This
Right
now:
The session is about to start and the warm-up does its job – bodies moving, ready to train. What it’s not doing: teaching you the game, building trust with the staff, giving players a shared language. There’s no time and no system to take it that far.
Six months
from now:
You already know what today needs before you’ve stepped onto the pitch. The technical coach walks over first – not to tell you the plan, but to ask what you’re seeing.
This is not a certificate, nor is a better drill library.
It truly is a shift in how people talk to you, plan with you and trust you.
That's the gap this course closes.

What This Actually Costs You
If You Wait
I didn't learn any of this quickly.
It took me 13 years – trial and error, coaches I was lucky enough to learn from, mistakes nobody warned me about. If you wait, here’s what that’s likely to cost you, quietly, without ever showing up as a single dramatic moment:
Time
Every season on autopilot is a season you could’ve spent building understanding, relationships, and systems
Trust
Trust you never got the chance to build – the conversations with technical staff that never happened
Money
Coaches seen as more than physical prep get paid more, promoted faster, kept on through changes that cost others their jobs
Confidence
Without a system, every new season can feel like starting from zero again
What Coaches
Are Saying
Five modules,
one system
Five modules, built to be used starting with your very next session:
01. Reframing the Warm-Up
02. Speaking the Same Language
03. Think in Buckets
04. Reimagining the Pulse Raiser
05. Beyond The Warm Up, Beyond The Course
Free content gives you drills,
but this course gives you the decision-making behind them.

Who
This Is For
Grassroots through professional, club or international
This is for you if:
- You're good at your job, but sense you're outside the bigger picture
- You know you could be developing faster than you are
- You're running the same fifteen minutes on autopilot more often than you'd like to admit

The only difference is how you’d rather pay.
Can Your Club
Pay for This?
This qualifies as genuine CPD
Many coaches don’t realise they can ask their club to cover it from a professional development budget that often goes unused, simply because nobody asks.
It’s coaching development that directly benefits the team you work for, not just you. Worth a conversation with whoever manages that budget before assuming this has to come out of your own pocket.
frequently
asked questions
I don't have a big staff - I run the whole session myself. Is this still for me?
Yes! This is genuinely built with you in mind, not just coaches with a full MDT around them. Module 2, on speaking the staff’s language, works just as well with a co-coach or assistant as it does with a full technical department – the point is building curiosity and alignment with whoever you work alongside, however small that circle is. And Modules 3 and 4 give you real, usable warm-up examples you can run solo, starting with your very next session.
I don't have an S&C or performance background. Will I be able to follow this?
Yes. This isn’t a strength and conditioning course – it’s a system for thinking about the warm-up differently, no prior technical background required. If you’ve been running warm-ups from FIFA+ resources, YouTube, or content you’ve picked up along the way, you already have exactly what you need to start.
What level is this actually built for?
Grassroots through professional, club or international. The system scales down as easily as it scales up – the buckets, the constraint-game method, and the pulse-raiser rework work the same whether you’re coaching u12s or a national team.
Do I get lifetime access to the course?
Yes – once you’re enrolled, the course content is yours to revisit whenever you want.
How long do I have CASA access for?
3 months of CASA (our coaching community) is included with the course. After that, it rolls onto the standard £25/month plan unless you choose to cancel – no pressure either way.
How much time will this actually take?
Each module is built to apply directly to your next session, not stack up as extra homework. You’re not adding hours to your week – you’re changing what you already do in the fifteen minutes you already spend.
I already know a lot of this. Is it still worth it?
Most coaches already sense the warm-up matters – very few have a repeatable system for using it. If Module 1 feels familiar, Modules 3–5 (the buckets system, the pulse-raiser rework, and rebuilding your own drill) are where the real shift happens.
Can my club pay for this?
Often, yes – this qualifies as genuine CPD. A ready-to-send request template is included so you can make the case to whoever manages your club’s professional development budget.
